About

Welcome to Oui Montessori!

Bienvenue! I’m Ariane Le Carboulec, a Montessori educator, interior designer, and founder of the Montessori Parent Child Center (MPCC). With over 20 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping families integrate Montessori principles into their homes, creating joyful, nurturing environments that foster independence and connection.

Originally from France, I moved to the U.S. in 2000 and earned my Montessori certifications (birth to six) through the American Montessori Society. My background also includes a certification in interior design from the New England Institute of Art, allowing me to combine Montessori expertise with a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces for children and families.

My work has extended beyond MPCC to influence broader Montessori initiatives. I collaborated with the founder of Wildflower Schools and the MIT Media Lab during the organization’s early development. The parent-child component of Wildflower Schools was inspired by MPCC’s offerings, reflecting my commitment to expanding access to Montessori education.

As a mother to a young toddler, I deeply understand the joys and challenges of parenting. My personal experience has further enriched my Montessori journey, allowing me to connect with families on a meaningful level. I’m passionate about non-toxic, sustainable living and empowering parents to create homes where children—and parents—can thrive.

At Oui Montessori, I share practical tips, reflections, and resources to help families bring Montessori principles to life. Whether you’re just beginning your Montessori journey or looking to deepen your understanding, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
